Premiere 1976 in the Schubartsaal

Did you know that on the 9th of November, Branko Arnsek, a 40-year-old stage jubilee celebrated as a musician in the Theaterhaus Stuttgart, did not make his debut on the bass, but on the piano? "Quintett plus One" was the band consisting of Sindelfinger and Böblinger pupils, including Viktor Gragert (guitar), Laszlo Petendi (violin) and Lutz Gross (drums). His first concert was the Sextet in the Sindelfingen Schubartsaal.

Arnsek first came to the bass because the Wartelists at that time were too long for piano lessons at the Sindelfingen music school. At the Jugendhaus Mitte, Branko Arnsek (picture: Homepage Arnsek) followed an exotic mixture of rock and salsa and reggae elements with the formation of Klangwerker (among others with Ralf Gödde, Karsten Richter, Gerhard Müller). With a third volume he moved into a rehearsal room at the Maichinger Concordia factory, where Roland Emmerich's first films were produced.

Then he moved the learned glass painter to study music in Switzerland. The Branko Arnsek (www.arnsek.de), based in Stuttgart, will perform at the Theaterhaus with the Guttenberger Brothers on Wednesday, 9 November at 8:15 pm. - tv -
